Grid (GRID) is a new general entertainment company that is launching a new boy group and a new general entertainment company in the second half of this year.
The company, led by CEO Shim Hye-jin, has been preparing for the launch of a new male idol group, including Thai actor YORCH. GRID is a comprehensive entertainment company established by a group of creatives who led the business of K-POP representative artists from YG and SM.
The first member of the new boy group is Yochi, an influential artist with over 2 million followers on social media. GRID also announced the establishment of a label business separate from the male idol group IP business, 131 Label, which houses talented male solo artists such as BI and Reddy.
131 plans to build global competitiveness by producing music that mixes and matches various genres based on K-POP performances, such as last year's global hit 'BTBT'. CEO Shim Hye-jin plans to incorporate 131 as her own label and strengthen it as a label specializing in solo artists.
The male idol group will release information about its members sequentially, starting with Yochi, along with the team name.
