'Running in the rain on Olympic Road,' Lee Chun-soo witnessed a drunken hit-and-run.
Lee Chun-soo, a former soccer player, was involved in a drunken hit-and-run incident on Olympic Boulevard near Dongjak Station in Seoul.
He witnessed an elderly taxi driver begging him to "catch that person" on the congested street. After the driver abandoned his vehicle, Lee Chun-soo and his teammates chased the suspect, who was eventually apprehended by the police.
Chun-soo sprinted for about 1 km along the rainy Olympic Highway to catch the suspect and calm the surprised taxi driver. The police also recognized Chun-soo's face and thanked him.
Chun-soo has recently been active as a broadcaster and is currently scheduled to appear on TV Chosun's new entertainment show, 'Joseon Sports Festival'.
